The firm is dedicated to advancing the standards of practice in the country and as such we recruit three to four pupils each year aspiring to train and join the Kenyan bar as advocates. To qualify, one must have attained the professional and academic qualifications as stipulated in sections 12 and 13 of the Advocates Act Cap 16 laws of Kenya which primarily state that you must be a citizen of Kenya, Uganda or Tanzania and eligible for conferment of a degree in law from a recognized university. Additionally, you must apply in writing to the council of Legal Education for admission to the Kenya School of Law well before hand for their yearly intake which currently is in the month of January. Pupils are exposed to both commercial and litigation sections of the firm where they receive elaborate training for a well-informed experience. They are also awarded a stipend during the dependency of their stay at the firm. Career Development and Social Responsibility
The firm is currently working on an award scheme to assist students of Moi University (Faculty of Law) engage in their research. Details on this scheme will be worked out in conjuction with the university and communicated to those concerned in due course. The firm has been involved in many activities related to uplifting the status of the citizenry in Kenya. These activities includes contribution towards relief and humanitarian assistance, assisting the needy and displaced, protection of the environment and offering pro-bono (free) legal services to those facing violation of rights and other challenges.
